truelo + Jira
truelo reads your Jira activity — the issues your team worked and closed — and folds it into the daily summary, so the update captures ticket progress alongside the code.
What you get
Tickets in the daily recap
Issues moved and closed show up in each person's end-of-day summary, so Jira progress is visible without anyone copy-pasting ticket keys.
Grounded in real progress
Because the summary is built from actual Jira activity — plus GitHub when connected — it reflects what shipped, not just what was typed.
One org-level connection
Link Jira once for the organization; data stays scoped to each team and encrypted.
Pairs with GitHub
Together, GitHub and Jira give the full picture — code and tickets — behind every summary and effort estimate.
How it works
- 1
Add truelo to Slack.
- 2
Connect Jira once at the org level.
- 3
Run /wrap — Jira progress now appears in your summary.
Jira integration — FAQ
What Jira data does truelo use?
The issues your team worked and closed, so ticket progress is included in the daily summary and the effort estimate.
Can it use Jira and GitHub together?
Yes. When both are connected, truelo combines code (GitHub) and tickets (Jira) into one grounded summary per person.
Do you support Confluence?
Confluence support is unknown — truelo's integrations today center on Slack, GitHub and Jira. Check the site for the latest.
Is Jira required?
No. Jira is optional and simply makes the summary richer; teams can use truelo with GitHub only, or with a manual /wrap.
